In the early 2000’s Beth and I had met some people that were in business and expanding.  It wasn’t anything I was familiar with or qualified for.  They were building communities of people that products flowed through.  Made sense to me.  Beth and I started our learning journey.  Many times we felt out of place and like nobody was understanding us.  We stayed the coarse and pushed on, and doors started to open.  I am attaching a video of a guy dancing that i think explains how it go’s when you decide to do something out of the ordinary.  I love what we do, it has evolved into an amazing machine that I am more excited about today than when we originally ever started.

Today May 28th, marks 11 years since I walked away from my job and decided to bet on myself and my efforts.  I used to have more confidence in my boss than I did in myself, then I realized that I am the artist drawing the picture of my future.  I have had so much fun with my wife and kids in the last 11 years, it has been priceless.  Not once did I ever say, “Man I wish I had a job again.” To this day, not many people understand why we dance, but many that see us from a distance know that we have fun doing it. Now I get to tell people that what I do for a living is help people get free from the financial matrix and run a successful business if they so choose.

There are so many people like the guy in this video that start dancing, and doing something that not everyone will understand, and they quit dancing to soon and say dancing is stupid.  I did this blog today to encourage those that may be dancing alone right now. Keep on dancing, as long as you’re having fun and believe in what you are doing, others will join.  Leading isn’t easy and in whatever capacity you are leading (dancing) keep it up, the world already has enough people that won’t, we need more that will.

As George Clooney said in the end of Tomorrowland “Go out and find the ones that haven’t given up, they’re the future.”

Dreamers need to hang with other dreamers. Surround yourself with others that encourage you, your life will be so much better.

I hope that you dance your heart out,

Steve Morgan

Mark and Laurie Tallio just got back from their FREE trip from LIFE Leadership.  The travel agents were very helpful and let them do a customized trip to Arizona because they have family there.  Mark and Laurie are a great couple and we are glad they were able to earn this trip through the LIFE Leadership company.  Laurie has been a dominate force in building these communities.  She has been strong on this journey when we were going through a bunch of changes.  I really appreciate her determination and professionalism,  she is a real blessing to a lot of people.  jeep tour

Laurie sent me this as a recap of their trip:

We were able to take our six for six trip through LIFE Leadership in January.  Getting notification from the Office and then receiving a call from the travel agent is pretty exciting!  Elisabeth, our travel agent, was wonderful.  Costa Rica was my dream location, but time with my grandson that I hadn’t seen in 14 months was way more important and my real dream.  Elisabeth was so patient as we talked through the possibilities, but ultimately, she said this is your trip and if you want to go someplace that travel agents deal with frequently, we can do that. So …. off to Arizona, temps in the low 70’s, a poolside room with a sliding glass door to the outdoor patio area with heated pool and hot tub …. a blast for my grandson.  Four wheel jeep riding over the red rock country in Sedona (we brought his little buddy and they were wide eyed the whole time), a trip to a wild west town where Trevin could ride a burro and pan for gold, days of bike riding in state parks and on the irrigation canal trail system, mini golf (using the rules of a four and a half year old), all culminating in a trip to Sky Dive America (no, we did not take a four and a half year old sky diving!).  Here they have a tunnel with 160 mile hour winds, allowing you to experience weightlessness and free falling – what an amazing experience!  As his parents and my husband had all gone sky diving in the past, this one was for Trevin and I. Trevin was nervous, but so proud afterwards, and I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face (but sky diving is still not on my bucket list)!  My favorite memory ….. “Grandma, you can live here all the time if you want”.  THANK YOU LIFE Leadership for awarding us with a trip early in our LIFE journey, and thank you to Elisabeth for hearing my heart!

Success is a choice,  and if you are looking for something for nothing, this will not be the Business for you.  It is a business after all. When people go to college, many times they go into a field and don’t know anyone that is in that field.  Now don’t get me wrong, I am not against education, I’m against people being painted in a corner and not having a way to get a job in their field after graduating.  So at best, they are guessing on how they want to spend the rest of their lives.  Now using college as an example, lets run it through the LIFE Business is a Scam filter.

If I enrolled in college and never went to class,  was college a scam? No

If I went to class but never studied and failed, was it a scam? No

If I tried hard and didn’t get a 4.0, but used the info in my life moving forward and my thinking was shaped for ever, was it a scam? No

If someone goes to college and spends a bunch of money, and doesn’t take it serious, it doesn’t mean the college was a scam.  It means the person shouldn’t have wasted the colleges reputation.

I do think that college is highly over priced.  Many people get stuck in huge student loans that they can never pay off.  I heard a statistic the other day that College tuition is inflated 500% since the 1990’s.

When someone comes to a LIFE event they get to meet people that are succeeding at the program they are going to get involved in.  Just like anything that someone wants to be a professional at, they are going to invest time and money to master whatever program they choose. LIFE Leadership is no different in that area.  When people get involved they are staring a BUSINESS and taking on some new responsibilities.  When you make that commitment, you are taking a chance that you aren’t going to give yourself YOUR best effort.  Remember, YOU started a business.

I think its funny that someone can join our company for around $100 and someone is going to help them.  I, many years ago, could have started disparaging the people online that didn’t come through on their end.  What I mean is that they didn’t try as hard as they said they would.  Instead I decided to keep moving forward and find people that would do what they said they would.

Questions to ask someone that says LIFE Leadership can’t or won’t work.

1. Do they understand how team approach works?

Team Approach is a business building style where we all work together to build a common and consistent market flow of products made up of other business partners and customers that they connect with.  Also with team approach you build with people that are brought into the community and you probably didn’t even know them before you got started. The fact that you can benefit from marketshare that you personally didn’t produce, that is pretty amazing.

2. How many meetings have they attended and what was their activity level?

– Most of the time they haven’t came to much and if they did, they were really bad students.

This one is funny because people tend to see themselves as very committed.  (A crooked line doesn’t know it’s crooked until compared to a straight line.)

3. How many times did they go Power Player and Go Getter?

4. How can they say it won’t work when it is working for so many?

Maybe they, like many, don’t want to do the work.

5. Do they know that the Founders are field leaders?  Which means they don’t get a special deal and pay each month.  They get paid the same way as everyone else in the field.

6. Have they ever owned a conventional business before?

People that own conventional business’s usually understand the cost of doing business.  LIFE Leadership is a very cheap business to own and operate.

I know the Pyramid thing comes up many times.  Also I know that most networking companies have done some really goofy things over the years.

In a pyramid- you can’t make more $ than the person that brought you in, you don’t really have a product, and you make $ on the process of signing up people.

The intentions of the Founders of the LIFE Leadership Company were to run a legitimate business that would last longer than them.  If you see how LIFE Leadership builds teams, and you are motivated, you will love it.  The LIFE Leadership Company looks to find the performers and pay them.

So as I said at the beginning of the article, “If you are looking for something for nothing, this is not for you.”   Life Leadership, just like any business, is going to take some effort, time, & money.  The results you get here are where the difference is.  It’s a way to finally get your time spent at something to pay you more than once.  In almost all small business, the owner is the magic.   In LIFE Leadership the System is the Magic.

Some of our good friends were able to earn this great FREE trip.  We are really happy for their success and their growth as leaders.  To earn one of these trips, you must be willing to help others.  Nick and Deanna are a great example of people that are willing to serves others.
Congrats to the Nighbor Family on all of your success,
Steve & Beth Morgan
We just got back from our trip and man it was awesome. We were able to bring our two oldest daughters to Walt Disney World in Florida. I didn’t really believe the trip was real until we landed. Everything was taken care of; flights, food, resort stay, passes to the parks, everything. I asked Audrey what was her favorite part; and she said, “the tea-cups and Ariel.”
It is pretty amazing to know that as we help more people with their life, we are rewarded for those efforts. We have to thank Steve and Beth Morgan for all they have to done to help us and the founders of Life Leadership to even make these incentive trips possible.
This was a long awaited vacation and it meant even more because there was true meaning behind it. My favorite part by far was being able to spend time with my wife and look into my kids eyes for 5 days straight and not have to worrry about a thing. I got to be an ever present Dad for 5 days!!
We can’t wait to help more families earn their trip. These trips are for real! It was worth it!!

Hey Readers,

We just got back from our 200 Club for the people who did 200 points in volume thru their LIFE business.  What a fun event.  We decided to do canoeing and tubing,  what a fun day it turned out to be.  It was in the mid to high 70’s and the sun was shining.  We filled that river with a whole bunch of great people that want to make a difference in the world.  These events are gonna become a huge lever, they are so much fun.  We had a great turnout at this event and set a goal to 3x or 4x the attendance at next month.

I know there are many other 200 PV Clubs going on in other locations.  If you haven’t been able to get to one of these yet, do whatever you can to get to the next one.  Just an FYI- remember to bring your sun screen.  I forgot to put mine on my head and I got a little more out of our party than I expected.

If you attended one of the 200 Clubs please leave a comment and let us know how much fun you had.

As you may know, in the LIFE company we don’t have any paid owners.  This gives us the chance to play and PAY at a level other companies can’t compete with. All of us that want to make money have to perform the same way.  Networking has always had a good smell to it but usually the closer you get to it the worse it is.  With LIFE we aimed to create a company that would actually have the money to pay people that we said would be there.  Most companies give world class trips to the elite in the company, but these people can already afford them.  We created incentive trips intended to reward the up and coming leaders and give them a chance to go some place that may be a once in a lifetime trip.

The featured couple today is Pat & Linda Birtles.  I really appreciate the partnership and friendship that we have with this couple.  By working hard and helping others they earned their first free trip.  Pat sent me a review of the trip and I wanted to share it with you.

Patrick & Linda Birtles’ 2013 Costa Rica Trip

Pat:

We left for our LIFE “6000 for 6 free trip” in frigid March weather in Michigan. We flew to Liberia, Costa Rica where we were picked up by transport vehicle from the Allegro Papagayo Resort where we would be staying for five relaxing fun filled days and nights. The resort is located on the mountainous coastline of a very large bay off the Pacific Ocean. Our room had a balcony that overlooked a gigantic swimming pool and the bay. The resort was all inclusive with unlimited food and drink from the restaurants that were beside and even in the center of the pool. The temperature was over 100-degrees everyday which made the pool very refreshing in the afternoons before dinner. There was abundance of wildlife, with White Faced Monkeys, Coati and Iguanas everywhere. We also saw Sloth and Howler Monkeys on our side trips. During one of our side trips we zip-lined from tree top to tree top of mature trees with the Howler Monkeys swinging through the trees beside us. On another, we hiked steep mountain trails in the rain forest, crossing several long swinging bridges that spanned large gorges. We met several interesting people from England, New York, Canada, Texas and of course Costa Rica.  We especially enjoyed our time together for wonderful days in this beautiful country. It was an awesome vacation and as Brady would say, “and the best part of the trip was it was FREE!

Thanks Pat for the great recap of your trip.  I cant wait for you to go on the 2nd trip and for people reading this to qualify for their trip.

Here’s to free trips & LIFE,

photoI had to buy my dog twice!
Let me start this post out with a story. 7 years ago we were having my daughters 2nd birthday party. After everyone was gone I started to wonder where our dog could be. He was a yellow lab that never did more than was necessary. I yelled for him from our porch, which usually worked. To my surprise, he didn’t come back. Later that day I drove up and down the road looking for him. No sign of him anywhere. I looked for multiple days after this and still nothing. I told family/neighbors to keep an eye out for him. In the back of my mind I wondered if he may have snuck off and died in the woods. I had always heard these stories of dogs doing stuff like that when they knew it was time.  Beth, Chloe and I were very sad, Winchester was like a family member. We kept moving forward with our lives and decided that he must be gone.  One day about a month after the birthday party my uncle calls me and said” I found Winchester, he’s at your old house.”  We had sold our house to some people about a mile from where we were currently living. Winchester had wandered back up to our old house. I got off the phone and called Beth to tell her to run up and get him. I was down in Indiana for the day. She went up and knocked on their door and as they answered there stood our 6yr old dog.  Beth was so happy and said thanks to the lady and called Winchester.  The lady stopped him and said ” he is our dog now and he’s not going with you.”  Mushroom cloud would best describe Beth’s feeling at that moment.  She couldn’t believe that someone would not give our dog back.  I received a phone call about 8 seconds after the door shut to our old house with our dog still inside.  She told me what had happened and I knew I was gonna have to play hardball to win this situation over now.
The following day, after getting back from out of state,  I made my way up to our old house. I knew they were heartless people that wouldn’t make this easy. As I knocked on the door I was thinking, I hope this goes good.  Lizard lady answered the door and in the nicest way I could, I tried to find a solution to recover our lost dog.  After she argued with me for a couple minutes I said, ” I really appreciate what you have done for us and our dog, the least I could do is pay you for what you have done.”  As I tried to kill her with kindness, she softened as we kept talking.  I paid her $250 for her time and effort.
I know that you shouldn’t ever have to buy your dog twice.  This situation taught me a lot about success.  Many times in your journey you will have to do more than you originally thought was necessary to achieve what you want.  Sometimes you need to do what’s necessary, not what you thought it would take.
The cool part of this story, is that we got our dog back and enjoyed another 5 years with him.  Looking back it seems like such a crazy story but, it worked out in the end.
I hope in whatever area you are trying to succeed in, you do whatever it takes to make it.
