Mark and Laurie Tallio just got back from their FREE trip from LIFE Leadership.  The travel agents were very helpful and let them do a customized trip to Arizona because they have family there.  Mark and Laurie are a great couple and we are glad they were able to earn this trip through the LIFE Leadership company.  Laurie has been a dominate force in building these communities.  She has been strong on this journey when we were going through a bunch of changes.  I really appreciate her determination and professionalism,  she is a real blessing to a lot of people.  jeep tour

Laurie sent me this as a recap of their trip:

We were able to take our six for six trip through LIFE Leadership in January.  Getting notification from the Office and then receiving a call from the travel agent is pretty exciting!  Elisabeth, our travel agent, was wonderful.  Costa Rica was my dream location, but time with my grandson that I hadn’t seen in 14 months was way more important and my real dream.  Elisabeth was so patient as we talked through the possibilities, but ultimately, she said this is your trip and if you want to go someplace that travel agents deal with frequently, we can do that. So …. off to Arizona, temps in the low 70’s, a poolside room with a sliding glass door to the outdoor patio area with heated pool and hot tub …. a blast for my grandson.  Four wheel jeep riding over the red rock country in Sedona (we brought his little buddy and they were wide eyed the whole time), a trip to a wild west town where Trevin could ride a burro and pan for gold, days of bike riding in state parks and on the irrigation canal trail system, mini golf (using the rules of a four and a half year old), all culminating in a trip to Sky Dive America (no, we did not take a four and a half year old sky diving!).  Here they have a tunnel with 160 mile hour winds, allowing you to experience weightlessness and free falling – what an amazing experience!  As his parents and my husband had all gone sky diving in the past, this one was for Trevin and I. Trevin was nervous, but so proud afterwards, and I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face (but sky diving is still not on my bucket list)!  My favorite memory ….. “Grandma, you can live here all the time if you want”.  THANK YOU LIFE Leadership for awarding us with a trip early in our LIFE journey, and thank you to Elisabeth for hearing my heart!

I hope as a reader, you realize that a FREE Trip like this could be earned by you also.

Beth and I are so proud of this couple and what they have achieved.  They are doing a great job of developing others and building a community.  They sent me a write up about their trip and I thought I would put it on here to share with the rest of you.  This couple is a great example of what people should be like.  They are great servants and love helping people.210115383

Teresa and I choose the Sandals Grande Riviera resort in Jamaica for our vacation earned through the Life Leadership co.  With four vacation destinations to choose from, we had a hard time deciding which one to take. Elisabeth, the travel agent, was great about asking questions to help us discern which vacation was right for us.

We have never had an opportunity like this before.  There is something about “FREE” that makes it very unique and special. When all the arrangements are made and everything is paid for, it created the freedom to just sit back, relax, focus on one another and marvel at all of God’s beauty that surrounded the resort.

Sailing on the small sail boats was one of our favorite things to do each day. I joked that we should sail all the way to Cuba and back. However, after going out a few miles and starting to lose sight of land, Teresa said it was an idea just not a good one.  We had a great laugh!

I would say eating must have rated right up there with sailing because we ate five times a day.  It’s amazing how much of an appetite you can work up with a rigorous daily regiment of walks on the beach, dips in the ocean and reading A Month of  Italy by Chris Brady and The Magic of Thinking Big by David Schwartz in a hammock under a palm tree. Actually to be more truthful the portions were just the right size to pull this off without feeling “stuffed” all day.  The food was absolutely wonderful!

The thing I have missed the most after coming home was the housekeeper who would tidy up our little cottage every time we would leave. We sure wish we had one of those at home! (Dream solidified!) The care and friendliness of the entire staff at Sandals was great. They made you feel like royalty, as if we were the only ones there that mattered to them.

In closing, we would like to thank Steve and Beth Morgan and all our Band of Brothers family who have always lead the way and never stopped believing in us. We also want to thank the Life Leadership Co. and its founders for creating an opportunity for anyone who just wants a shot at life like Teresa and I. Like Orrin Woodward says: It’s not easy but it is worth it and this vacation was a much needed rest stop on the road to achieving more of our dreams. God Bless!

Success is a choice,  and if you are looking for something for nothing, this will not be the Business for you.  It is a business after all. When people go to college, many times they go into a field and don’t know anyone that is in that field.  Now don’t get me wrong, I am not against education, I’m against people being painted in a corner and not having a way to get a job in their field after graduating.  So at best, they are guessing on how they want to spend the rest of their lives.  Now using college as an example, lets run it through the LIFE Business is a Scam filter.

If I enrolled in college and never went to class,  was college a scam? No

If I went to class but never studied and failed, was it a scam? No

If I tried hard and didn’t get a 4.0, but used the info in my life moving forward and my thinking was shaped for ever, was it a scam? No

If someone goes to college and spends a bunch of money, and doesn’t take it serious, it doesn’t mean the college was a scam.  It means the person shouldn’t have wasted the colleges reputation.

I do think that college is highly over priced.  Many people get stuck in huge student loans that they can never pay off.  I heard a statistic the other day that College tuition is inflated 500% since the 1990’s.

When someone comes to a LIFE event they get to meet people that are succeeding at the program they are going to get involved in.  Just like anything that someone wants to be a professional at, they are going to invest time and money to master whatever program they choose. LIFE Leadership is no different in that area.  When people get involved they are staring a BUSINESS and taking on some new responsibilities.  When you make that commitment, you are taking a chance that you aren’t going to give yourself YOUR best effort.  Remember, YOU started a business.

I think its funny that someone can join our company for around $100 and someone is going to help them.  I, many years ago, could have started disparaging the people online that didn’t come through on their end.  What I mean is that they didn’t try as hard as they said they would.  Instead I decided to keep moving forward and find people that would do what they said they would.

Questions to ask someone that says LIFE Leadership can’t or won’t work.

1. Do they understand how team approach works?

Team Approach is a business building style where we all work together to build a common and consistent market flow of products made up of other business partners and customers that they connect with.  Also with team approach you build with people that are brought into the community and you probably didn’t even know them before you got started. The fact that you can benefit from marketshare that you personally didn’t produce, that is pretty amazing.

2. How many meetings have they attended and what was their activity level?

- Most of the time they haven’t came to much and if they did, they were really bad students.

- This one is funny because people tend to see themselves as very committed.  (A crooked line doesn’t know it’s crooked until compared to a straight line.)

3. How many times did they go Power Player and Go Getter?

4. How can they say it won’t work when it is working for so many?

Maybe they, like many, don’t want to do the work.

5. Do they know that the Founders are field leaders?  Which means they don’t get a special deal and pay each month.  They get paid the same way as everyone else in the field.

6. Have they ever owned a conventional business before?

People that own conventional business’s usually understand the cost of doing business.  LIFE Leadership is a very cheap business to own and operate.

I know the Pyramid thing comes up many times.  Also I know that most networking companies have done some really goofy things over the years.

In a pyramid- you can’t make more $ than the person that brought you in, you don’t really have a product, and you make $ on the process of signing up people.

The intentions of the Founders of the LIFE Leadership Company were to run a legitimate business that would last longer than them.  If you see how LIFE Leadership builds teams, and you are motivated, you will love it.  The LIFE Leadership Company looks to find the performers and pay them.

So as I said at the beginning of the article, “If you are looking for something for nothing, this is not for you.”   Life Leadership, just like any business, is going to take some effort, time, & money.  The results you get here are where the difference is.  It’s a way to finally get your time spent at something to pay you more than once.  In almost all small business, the owner is the magic.   In LIFE Leadership the System is the Magic.

Another couple that went on a FREE trip through the LIFE Leadership company was Jon and Heather Groves.  They are awesome friends, family and leaders to many.  We were so excited when they told us about earning this vacation and getting the call from the travel agent.  I asked them to send us a little recap of how this trip was and what others can expect to get when they go.

Here is what they had to say:Groves Family Disney Trip

It’s the trip you’ve always wished you could take with your family but couldn’t quite pull off. Instead of eating snack bars and pb&j’s stuffed in a backpack for the day, you actually go to all of those restaurants you told your kids to not even think about the first time around. With a simple signature on the bill you’re off to enjoy more sights and rides. The travel agent is extremely helpful with all of the details and investigating all of the options that you could want. We stayed an extra night at the resort the day/ night before the park tickets so we could take some time to relax after the trip and enjoy the amazing features of the hotel resort itself. A day and evening at one of the many pools does the trick. A bonus of actually staying at
the resort at Disney is that you have Extra Magic Hours available to you and your family at all of the parks. Some are in the morning and some after regular close time hours. These are hours that the park either opens early or stays open late specifically for those staying in a Disney resort hotel. There are significantly less people in the parks at these times and you are able to ride your favorite rides or see your favorite sights without lines or crowds. Two of our favorite dining experiences were the Crystal palace in the Magic Kingdom where the characters come and greet you at your table and pose for pictures. It’s an amazing buffet so you just keep eating until you’re stuffed. The second favorite is the French restaurant in Epcot where our bill totaled over $200 and all we has to do was sign our name and say thanks. Gourmet food for a signature, that’s what I call a dream. The kids loved the “Yeti ride” in Animal Kingdom, Space Mountain in Magic
Kingdom and the Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios. We all loved Soarin’ at Epcot and where most people are lucky to ride once we were able to ride 4 different times over our stay. We frequented the Haunted Mansion and were even privileged to go in the middle of the night during Extra Magic hours which is an entirely new experience. Talk about creepy. Kiley loved our room at the resort, the food, and the “Yeti” ride was her favorite. I don’t think she actually finished
one meal there was so much food. Shad was most impressed by the food. His favorite restaurant was the buffet in Africa at Animal Kingdom with its assortment of new and unique foods. As a growing teenage boy, the food was key. He says what he loved most was just spending time together as a family. Maddi loved the Crystal palace buffet and the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor in magic Kingdom. For Jon and I, being able to earn a dream trip like this for our kids was the best part. It’s all about the memories. Jon and Heather Groves

Leave a comment and let us know where you would go for free.

Costa Rica, Oasis of the Seas Cruise, Disney or Jamaica.

Congrats again to Jon and Heather for earning this FREE trip, you deserved it.

I remember meeting Ed for the 1st time when we were buying our house.  He was the inspector that came to check the house out for us.  Today we are great friends with him and Tina.  They are a great couple and very powerful in a leadership role.  They earned this trip by doing the work, Beth and I were so excited for them to go on it.

Here is a Summary of the Trip and what it felt like to take a free 7 day trip:

Our family recently returned from our 6 for 6 trip and our overall feeling was “awesome”! Keep in mind that our family had NEVER taken a weeks vacation. We had always snuck in a couple of fun days with a work trip here or there or taken a long weekend, but never gone 7 days without working. So, to say the least, we were pumped!
 SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES
We chose to go to Disney World after some debate of the cruise. It ended up being the perfect choice for us. The travel agent that called us was very friendly and helpful and made many helpful suggestions that made it even better. We were able to get a 7 day stay at the Pop Century Resort on the Disney property, with tickets to all the Disney Parks, a bunch of discount coupons, a family meal plan, and air travel for our allowance.

The week was amazing! We had great weather (it was in the 70’s all week), went to every park, including a night at Downtown Disney, and had a day that we stayed at the resort and relaxed by the pool most of the day. Everyone had a favorite ride or park or show but we were all in agreement that the best part of the week was truly spending the whole entire week together. My best memory was that at one point or another, I got to spend quality time and hold hands with both of my kids and my wife and really re-engage with all of them. It truly made us see that being free is achievable for us and that our taste of freedom makes us want to run harder to qualify for the next trip and earn our freedom.

We want to thank Steve & Beth  Morgan for being our  mentors and friends and for introducing us to this fabulous business! We also want to thank all the other Band of Brothers for their support and example.  We are truly blessed to be where we are and would encourage everyone to run faster the chase their dreams and earn this trip. It will be LIFE changing!

Beth and I have so much fun talking to all of the trip qualifiers after they get back, we love to hear about all of the dreams come true.

What trip are you gonna earn?

thanks for reading,

Some of our good friends were able to earn this great FREE trip.  We are really happy for their success and their growth as leaders.  To earn one of these trips, you must be willing to help others.  Nick and Deanna are a great example of people that are willing to serves others.
Congrats to the Nighbor Family on all of your success,
Steve & Beth Morgan
We just got back from our trip and man it was awesome. We were able to bring our two oldest daughters to Walt Disney World in Florida. I didn’t really believe the trip was real until we landed. Everything was taken care of; flights, food, resort stay, passes to the parks, everything. I asked Audrey what was her favorite part; and she said, “the tea-cups and Ariel.”
It is pretty amazing to know that as we help more people with their life, we are rewarded for those efforts. We have to thank Steve and Beth Morgan for all they have to done to help us and the founders of Life Leadership to even make these incentive trips possible.
This was a long awaited vacation and it meant even more because there was true meaning behind it. My favorite part by far was being able to spend time with my wife and look into my kids eyes for 5 days straight and not have to worrry about a thing. I got to be an ever present Dad for 5 days!!
We can’t wait to help more families earn their trip. These trips are for real! It was worth it!!

The State of Michigan has a unique event that they put on each year.  It’s called the “Mentored youth hunt.”  I chose this year to involve my two older kids in this event.  We got all geared up and prepared them by shooting the gun and seeing how they would handle that.  That went much better than I ever expected.  Accuracy was on and they were not scared of the gun, which is a big factor.  So on Friday night we headed up north and stayed with family.  IMG_1210

Since there were two kids, one Dad ,& one gun, we had a problem.  So we had to decide who was going to hunt at the different times and who would sit out.  Chloe, our oldest daughter, offered for Ty to hunt first.  Ty is two years younger than Chloe, but I thought it was a nice gesture on Chloes’ part.
The next morning Ty took his first shot at a deer, he did great and got a great shot on it.  We looked for a good period of time, but due to undergrowth in the woods, we were unsuccessful in finding his deer.  Ty had a great attitude about it though.  That night we sat out again and this time it was Chloe’s turn.  A doe came through quickly and Chloe felt the pressure of the hunt and couldn’t even get the deer into the scope.  I was hoping that she wouldn’t let discouragement set in.  That will ruin anyone on any endeavor.  As we were sitting there waiting for more deer to come through, Ty dosed off and Chloe leaned over to me and said ” Dad I have prayed so many times this week for GOD to give me Courage to do a good job when I see a deer.”  I said,  ” Chloe I am so proud of what you prayed for, most people pray for a big buck to come through.  But you prayed for the right thing.”  I didn’t realize the fears of a nine year old.  She seemed to be thinking about her fear more than her excitement of the hunt.  I think many of us do this in most things that we do in our lives.
Fast forward to the last night of hunting,  we are bored and ready to leave.  I am keeping them out in the woods for quite a while each sit.  They were both done at this point.  Then I got a text from the house, “they are coming your way.”  Now we are in game time.  Chloe ends up spotting the doe at the end of the field in front of us.  She gets the gun set and Ty & I standing back.  She takes her time and pulls the trigger.  BOOM!! To my amazement, the deer drops to the ground at 170yds.  (I have never even shot a deer that far away)
I jump out of the hunting shack and put my arm in the air and said ” you are awesome Chloe!!!”
She responded, “I didn’t even feel like I aimed.”
I knew right then that she had an answer to prayer.  She was given Courage in the scary moment.  I am more proud of my daughter for praying for the right thing than I am about her getting a deer.
Just remember on your journey through life it will help if you pray for the right things.  God doesn’t care if you get a deer, but I believe that he can be glorified in a moment like this through a young girl asking for Courage in that moment.
Here’s  to those that seek courage like my daughter did.
